I don't hate them, but I can't honestly say that I love them. And I want to. At a women's conference we had in February, one lady spoke on a love of learning. She was speaking of other things, but the thought came to me that I can study the scriptures as if I were studying for a biology class. I have the student manual for institute, I have the scriptures, and that is something I can do during the day, in front of my kids (or more ideally when they're at school) and gain that love. Same thing for you, just think of something you want to get from reading it and it will come to you. The easiest way to start is to just go with the Gospel Doctrine lesson of the week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21161469.post-1142891904231739972006-03-20T14:58:00.000-07:002006-03-20T14:58:00.000-07:00I just try to read from start to end over and over...I just try to read from start to end over and over again. Different things stick out and different times. But you can read the scriptures and still not have the spirit with you. I've felt that way before. I'm looking for a more productive way to do it myself. The way I'm doing it now doesn't take much though, just read where you left off.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01018453723060771140noreply@blogger.com
