I think the only redeeming value there is (and really, I shouldn't suggest that redemption can actually be had in this case, because there is none) for the film "Happy Feet" is the idea of the heartsong. Pretty much, just know that there's this idea of a heartsong, and then go ahead and burn any copies of the movie in your immediate reach (they don't even have to be yours), along with all applicable merchandise.
If you told me to narrow it down to one, I wouldn't be able to say what my heartsong is. You give me a situation though, a context, and maybe I could pick what rings true to me. For instance, when Jackie was stuck in the hospital before we could take her home, I would sing the Ben E King version of Stand By Me to her, and that's become Jackie's song. When I think of the Savior, it's I Know That My Reedemer Lives that I can't get past the first measure without choking up.
Oddly enough, though we do make sweet sweet music together, I couldn't say what Teresa's and my song would be. On a related note, I can't seem to pick out a song for Dorothy either. When I think about it, I had always wanted to sing Stand By Me to our kid/s, but I kinda want to pick a new song for each of them. Anyway, gotta wrap this up, so...what do y'all do?

When Wyatt and I were dating I would always hear 1000 miles by Vanessa Carlton as I was driving home from seeing him. That became our song to me. I even had aspirations of learning how to play it so I could play and sing it at our wedding...ha ha...that never happened. Wyatt told me that he has a song for Malcolm, it made me cry when I heard it. I think it is Angels and Airwaves...but don't quite me on that.
I made up a song for each of the boys. They're less than 30 seconds, and I guess it was just my way of having something with them that no one else can.
So, I should probably point out that yes, we do have a song, and that I had just forgotten it. Teresa says it's the Alison Krauss version of "When you say nothin' at all," but I like the other version sung by a guy, can't remember his name though.
On a (semi) related note, I sure do like Bill Withers' "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" (related because both those songs are in the movie...10 points to whoever gets it!)
