What do you do?

I just wanted to ask you about your study habits. Do you read the scriptures every day? Do you read them in a set order, or skip around? I haven't really read the scriptures since getting home from my mission 3.5 years ago. Since I'm being honest, I know I don't pray the same way either.
I found a passion for the scriptures in the MTC when I really read the BoM for the first time. That spurred my reading the entire Bible, along with the bible dictionary, and the rest of the triple combo, then on to the missionary library - but I only read Jesus the Christ.
Then, I don't know what happened. It's like I was full from eating too much, metaphorically speaking. Don't get me wrong, it's not as though I've got it all figured out. I just felt that I was done reading.
I'm the kind of guy you hate, that never has to study for tests. I just apsorb information that way. I know I can't do the same thing with this though. That is, I remember a lot about the scriptures, but the problem lies in that I've lost the spirit. I feel that I'm, in my own little way, becoming one of the "Wo unto the learned" crowd.
My wonderful wife will be my savior until I can get off my ass and read for the love of feeling the spirit again. She makes sure we read every night. Maybe I just need to live the mission lifestyle to make sure I read: no more TV/internet gaming just to kill time, start work on improving my surroundings, cleaning house, etc...

I just try to read from start to end over and over again. Different things stick out and different times. But you can read the scriptures and still not have the spirit with you. I've felt that way before. I'm looking for a more productive way to do it myself. The way I'm doing it now doesn't take much though, just read where you left off.

I don't know if you read the entry where I talked about this, but:

I don't "love" the scriptures. I don't hate them, but I can't honestly say that I love them. And I want to. At a women's conference we had in February, one lady spoke on a love of learning. She was speaking of other things, but the thought came to me that I can study the scriptures as if I were studying for a biology class. I have the student manual for institute, I have the scriptures, and that is something I can do during the day, in front of my kids (or more ideally when they're at school) and gain that love. Same thing for you, just think of something you want to get from reading it and it will come to you. The easiest way to start is to just go with the Gospel Doctrine lesson of the week.
