James Brown said it all

I feel good! For the longest time, I've had little to no interest in studying anything scriptural...pretty much since I got home from my mission almost 5 years ago. I can't say I've been actively praying to change for the better, but I have prayed for it. Well, I don't know what the difference is now, but two nights ago, I felt that thirst for knowledge again. I actually want to study the missionary manual (I'm a ward missionary), and read my scriptures again! It's a great feeling! Like I say, I don't know what it is, but it sure feels good.

I sooooo know what you're talking about. My problem is that I'm constantly researching quotes and scriptures for my boss, every stinkin' day, so reading them for my own pleasure or info is not too exciting. I need that drive to "hunger and thirst" for them. Now that you're my Gospel Essentials teacher, I guess I'd better start reading!

I didn't know you were the missionary. I have also been called to that position and am teaching the essentials myself.
